全世界有哪一間酒莊，自2002年至今，在Wine Advocate的分數中，最低是99？ 答案不是波爾多，也不是布根地；既非Napa，也非隆河，而是來自你可能從沒想過的美國華盛頓州。
Quilceda Creek 酒莊位於華盛頓Snohomish，是一間典型的小園，屬於Golitzin家族。它專精卡本內，旗艦款為混調，單一園則有1~2款，酒產量少，稱它是膜拜酒也無妨，但它的屬性與多半來自加州的膜拜酒並不相同，主要是華盛頓州本有著不錯的梅洛，用來作波爾多混調，酒的面向極為多元，極為漂亮的黑色水果與黑醋栗氣息中，還多了一分檀香與黑松露香氣，更形高雅。
這間1979年成立的酒莊，原本就有著不錯的成績，釀酒師 Paul Golitzin 在1992年追隨父親腳步釀酒後，在 2003年份將酒款中的 Champoux葡萄園的比例提高，讓酒質在氣勢與架構之外，更有了如絲的單寧貫穿。結果原本已有WA98－99的優異表現，更上一層樓，一舉拿下100分佳績！2006年度的百大第2名即是Quilceda Creek CS 2003。自此，一直到2009年份，Quilceda Creek 總共有五個年份是 100分，其餘年份呢…99分！
Robert Parker曾欽點 156座世界最偉大酒莊，華盛頓州唯一代表就是 Quilceda Creek。基本上，這個酒莊的酒都是 Sold Out，在國際市場上沒什麼流通性。Quilceda Creek 酒莊內最物超所值的 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Red Wine (奎西達精釀紅酒)，葡萄品種為76% Cabernet Sauvignon，20% Merlot，3% Petit Verdot，1% Malbec，這一款酒專為不能喝到頂級酒款的酒友們所釀製的佳釀，採自 Champoux & Palengat & Tapteil and Wallula Gap 多個葡萄園., 採用100% French Oak 法國全新橡木桶, 每年產量更是不到一萬瓶，其酒質可說媲美頂尖酒款!!

Quilceda CVR 2012Robert Parker Tasting Notes: A smoking effort that shows the beauty of the 2012 vintage, Golitzin’s 2012 CVR Colombia Valley Red Wine is made from a declassified blend of most Cabernet Sauvignon, with smaller parts Merlot and Malbec. It’s offers a brilliant, almost Bordeaux-like, bouquet of sweet cassis, lead pencil shavings, graphite and hints of toast that flows to a full-bodied, layered, seamless Cabernet that has integrated acidity, sweet tannin and a great finish that doesn’t lack for richness or persistence. Already hard to resist, it will nevertheless continue to drink nicely for another decade or more.
