雄壯氣勢磅礡彼雄男爵堡 & 時尚潮流尖端–Chanel (香奈兒) for Château Canon Grnad Cru Classe
時裝尖端頂級名牌 Chanel 在1996年成功收購，成為旗下自左岸位於 Margaux 的Château Rauzan-Segla之後的第二家波爾多酒莊。香奈兒創辦人Coco Chanel 曾有名言道「潮流瞬息萬變，唯有風格永存」，也許就是 Canon 的古典呼應著香奈兒一貫簡約優雅的品牌價值，歷久彌新，即使邁入21世紀的現在，Chateau Canon 仍持續釀造精緻且細膩的典雅品味。
聖愛美濃的土壤以及氣候條件非常適合早 熟的梅洛葡萄成長，以 Merlot 為主體混合 Cabernet Franc 釀成的酒具有優雅的果香以及複雜的層次，誕生出如 Ausone、Cheval Blanc 等聞名世界的酒莊。Chateau Rauzan-Segla和 Chateau Canon可算是旗鼓相當。
Château Canon 原本稱為Clos Saint Martin，1760年被Jacques Kanon 海盜船長買下來之後，縱橫大西洋，後來由國王路易十五招安，靠著掠奪商船累積的大筆財富，Kanon 船長成為 Chateau Canon 的第一任主人，其後酒莊多次轉手，終於在 1996 年由 Chanel 香奈兒集團買下，聘請曾任職 Chateau Latour、同時擔任香奈兒擁有的另一酒莊 Rauzan Segla 總經理 John Kolasa 掌 管集團旗下兩座酒莊的大小事務。二百多年歷史的Château Canon 落到 Chanel (香奈兒) 手中，當然需要大規模修復，十幾年來，酒莊營運總監 John Kolasa 循序漸進逐步進行，首先是購買全新釀酒設備, 葡萄成熟後進行人工採摘，從中挑出高質量的葡萄釀造 Château Canon 葡萄在經過除梗破碎之後，放入全新的橡木桶進行發酵，酒精發酵在木桶裡進行，而乳酸發酵則在不銹鋼容器裡進行，所以整個發酵過程中有一半在大木桶，一半在大不銹鋼桶, 發酵結束後，在全新的橡木桶內陳釀18-20個月，區域微型氣候十分接近。因此，Château Canon所出產的酒也確實不亞於其他聖愛美濃酒莊，然而它的價格相對較低，完全稱得上是一瓶物超所值的頂尖作品!
The Château Canon 1988 Offer: ( Saint-Emilion ) Grnad Cru Classe
Robert Parker Tasting Notes : The 1988’s deep ruby/purple color exhibits more opaqueness and depth than the 1989. The spicy, mineral and cassis-scented bouquet has more focus and dimension. In the mouth, there is an elevated level of tannins, in keeping with the style of the 1988 vintage, but unlike many 1988s, this wine possesses excellent, even outstanding concentration, plenty of length, and a sense that the yields were kept conservative, as there is an inner strength and depth that suggests this wine will ultimately outperform and outlive the 1989

The Château Pichon-Longueville Baron 1983 Offer: Grnad Cru Classe
在Bouteillier家族的管理下，Château Pichon-Longueville Baron酒莊仍然保持著很高的聲譽，酒莊已經從一系列的黴菌、根瘤蚜、戰爭和經濟危機的衝擊之下恢復過來。1987年由Jean-Michel Cazes和AXA年份公司(AXA Millésimes)共同買下酒莊。AXA年份公司對酒莊進行的大量的投資，完全重建一個位於城堡前水池下面的酒窖，並把無人居住的城堡修葺一新，使得酒莊的酒質有了很大的提升，而且酒莊現在已經可以挑戰Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande酒莊了!
Robert Parker Tasting Notes : The 1983 is certainly a better-structured wine than the 1982, but as it has aged, it has, curiously, become less interesting. Dark ruby, with a spicy, cassis-and-herb-scented bouquet, this medium-bodied wine still has plenty of tannin, but appears to be maturing rapidly. & Not up to today’s standard for this estate, but it’s a friendly wine with lovely cassis and berry aromas and flavors, medium body and a light fruity finish!
