向來 Burgundy 以風土(terroir)聞名，不同的風土會影響酒的味道及質素。在 Burgundy 不單相鄰的葡萄田的風土會有不全，有時在同一葡萄田內，也有一少部份面積的土地會擁有不同的風土元素。
Burgundy 一共有六個白酒的 Grand Cru，其中有4 個就位於Puligny Montrachet，分別是Chevalier Montrachet 、Bienvenues Batard Montrachet、 Batard Montrachet 和 Le Montrachet ，其餘的兩個 Grand Cru是 Corton Charlemagne及 Criots Batard Montrachet，分別位於Corton及Chassagne Montrachet。另外Puligny Montrachet 就有17個 climats 屬於Premier cru。可見Puligny Montrachet 區白酒在 Burgundy 的重要性。
Domaine Vincent Girardin 酒莊,認為該酒莊在創辦時主訴求”好酒不應隸屬”高價位”,致力釀造出”極佳易喝早熟,物超所值的酒款;經過一世紀下來,果然在1986年以後在國際市場上世人公認是為布根地區域中最物有所值的酒莊,但經多數Wine Lover test及整體銷售結果,若以”同等產區”條件下,Vincent Girardin 的產區價格比其它優等酒莊價格來的平易近人許多,隸屬非常難能可貴”的酒莊,滿足了一些布根地愛好酒友,但又不想花費不貸的酒友,如, 這就是 Vincent 它個人迷人之處….Les Perrieres 誠如其名，所產葡萄酒有著獨特如杏仁楜，羊齒類植物，熱帶水果，琥珀和白花的香氣。恰到的酸度帶出非常柔順的口感，及令人難忘的餘韻。”

Les Perrieres 在Les Pucelles 的北方，中間隔著 Premier Cru Clavoillon，斜坡高度由230至390m。Les Perrieres 土壤是堊白(chalky)、粘土(clayey) 和 有較多的碎石(stony); 其實Perrieres就有碎石的意思。一般來說會生產最男性化的 Puligny Montrachet。

中等金黃的酒色，帶寬闊無色的邊緣。強烈的香氣帶白花香，杏仁，洋槐花(Acacia)，水果(candy fruits)，蘋果，柑橘(citrus)，焦糖(caramel)，榛子(hazelnut)。 酒已完全成熟，帶有很多的舊酒(tertiary aroma)味道，不過酸度醒神，有活力，但感覺細膩並且在杯中放耐了散發出更多的蜜糖味。
