西元1982年 RitaTua 和 Virglilio Bisti 二人在共同聯手合作下,希望能找到二人心目中最完美的葡萄園,最後在Livorno Norti 地區內 Alta Maremm 地塊 ,終於在西元1984年成立Tua Rita 酒莊，但 Alta Maremm 村附近大多都是種著Sangiovese,但是Virglilio 和Rita 卻是認為這裡更適合種植 Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc和 Merlot 及 獲得 Parker欽 點 100分的 Syrah 葡萄! 由於Virglilio 堅定的執著,在西元1994年第一次用100% Merlot葡萄,小木桶的精釀少量 Redigaffi 頂級酒款,第一個年份就受到大家對義大利Merlot的改觀,在2000年更是獲得Robert Parker 評鑑100分! 但很不幸的，Virgilio 在六年前就離開人世,現在他的女兒Simena繼續抱著父親當年執著的信念和企圖心，與釀酒師共同努力,如今，Tua Rita酒 莊大約有33公頃的葡萄園,種植著不同的葡萄品種,主要土壤為黏土層和砂石上，葡萄園高度約在海拔150~200公尺以上,在橡木桶的比例使用上特別注重,就是避免使用過多木桶,改變原來的風貌!
