座落於波爾多右岸 Pomerol 產區中心的 Chateau Clinet，創立於19世紀，早期就已是當地頗有名氣的酒莊。酒莊自1860年以來經過多次易手，中間也歷經過黯淡的低潮期，直到1980年起，當時的莊主聘請了Michel Rolland全權主持酒莊的釀酒事宜大大改善酒莊品質之後，Château Clinet 才又從谷底爬起，一路晉升為Pomerol產區除了Petrus、Le Pin 之外最富名望的明星酒莊之一。1987年時，Château Clinet 更與 Château Mouton 一同被評為波爾多最好的兩支酒之一，分數甚至超越了Château Petrus。Robert Parker也在1989及2009年給了Château Clinet 100分滿分的推崇。
歷史上，這間酒莊在1西元1785就已出現在波爾多地圖上，西元1830年更是與 Pomerol 酒王 Chateau Pétrus 共為 Arnaud 家族所有。多次易主後，到了西元1998年才被 Laborde家族購入，目前掌舵是年輕的Ronan Laborde。他當時僅以23歲就接掌酒莊經理，在保守且重階級輩份的波爾多酒界，曾經引起一陣喧然大波。不過他交出了一張不錯的成績單，前期續與知名釀酒顧問 Michel Rolland 合作，讓 Clinet 的 Merlot 有著精湛工藝，分數與成績也維持穩定；後來更強化企業識別標幟，以紅色系為主，從酒莊網站到波爾多級數酒展，皆可看到Clinet那鮮明的紅色系字體與Logo展現! 快速締造 Chateau Clinet在國際間超高知名度。擁有陳年的礫石、深厚的黏土以及含鐵的底層土壤，相當適合Merlot葡萄品種的生長；種植了85%Merlot、10%Cabernet Sauvignjon 以及 5% Cabernet-Franc，葡萄樹齡平均60~70年以上,充分發揮了葡萄園的深層古老碎石潛質， 成為 Pomerol 地區頂尖車庫精釀酒莊。

Robert Parker Tasting Note: With a dense purple color and gorgeous levels of fruit, especially black raspberry and blackcurrant, this full-bodied, opulent style of wine is another great success for Clinet, a château that has been on top of its game for the last decade. This is stunning stuff, and whatever new oak has been used – and there is plenty – it is totally disguised by the luxurious and extravagant fruit level. This full-bodied, opulent Pomerol should drink well for 15 or more years 香氣甜美,小紅莓,李子,黑醋栗的香氣, 絹布般的口感, 丹寧絲滑細緻, 藍莓果的香氣,口感甜美集中, 很純淨的酒液!
