【Grand Puy】 法文意指極優特好，指的是葡萄園位於【極為優越特好風土位置 Terrior】，從16世紀以來，Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste在波爾多列級名酒中享譽盛名，這家來自波爾多著名 Pauillac 黃金產區，在西元1855年列級評鑑為五級酒莊，酒莊歷史創立十八世紀中葉，Locoste家族掌管整個莊園，直到1978年Raymond Dupin離世之前，他才將酒莊交由Borie家族接手。直到今天 François‑Xavier Borie 依舊是Chateau Grand Puy 擁有者及釀酒師。【 但是François‑Xavier Borie 是何許人呢? 他正是鼎鼎大名二級酒莊Château Ducru‑Beaucaillou】的 Bruno & Sabine Borie 的哥哥，身為長子的François應更有資格繼承【二級酒莊 Château Ducru‑Beaucaillou】，但是【他卻選擇留在Château Grand Puy Lacoste 釀酒】，因為在這裡，他有更多自我發揮空間，釀出自己心目中想呈現給世人的頂尖波爾多作品。
數百年來Grand Puy Lacoste與波爾多許多酒莊相同，歷經了「興盛、轉手、重生、再起」的更迭，François 自葡萄園開始重新整頓，將整個酒莊逐步重建。新一代的傳承亦帶來新的思維，為這座百年酒莊注入全新活力，得到不少的獎項及好評，未來表現值得拭目以待。
Lacoste – Borie 種植葡萄品種是：52% Cabernet Sauvignon，40% Merlot ，9% Cabernet Franc。每公頃種植10,000株葡萄樹。以莊園為中心，園內遍佈石灰岩、礫石和黏土組成的土壤。酒莊採用有機和自然動力法 Biodynamic 耕耘，平均樹齡約38歲。

Château Grand Puy Lacoste • 【Lacoste – Borie 】2012Tastinfg Notes: This wine presents a very ruby red color. The nose is dominated by black fruits with black cherry very much to the fore and by coffee aromas. The mid palate has the sweetness of ripe fruit and rounded tannins. The richness is well balanced by some bilberry freshness. This wine will need a little bite of patience before starting to enjoy it.
One of those wines that offers impressive quality at a price that most people can afford,this is a claret drinker’s Pauillac. Fresh and subtle, but with rounder tannins than theequally enjoyable 2011, this has flavours of spice, chocolate and blackcurrant, chiseledacidity and subtle oak.Drink: 2018-2026
